It's perfect for use when presenting! When possible, CIS will install security patches in the background, without requiring a logout, restart, or otherwise engaging the user. You may see a notification in the upper right corner of your screen. In some cases, updates will require the user to logout or restart their computer.

Full payment within 30 days is expected, although the bookstore will accept monthly partial payments over the course of the semester, with the total paid in full by semester end. We accept checks, cash, and credit cards at the bookstore, and online payments through the "Pay Your Account" link on our website, bookstore.

Bookstore statements are produced at the end of the month, and email is our preferred method of delivery. Due to billing system limitations, statements are in summary form, without purchase detail. Copies of the itemized cash register receipts go to the student at the time of purchase, so if a parent would like to see what items were purchased, we encourage the student to send copies of their receipts to the parent, or we can run a detail report upon request at any time.

Accounts which become 60 days past due without any payment will be suspended until they are brought current. Some of the services we provide include textbook reservations, textbook buyback, textbook rentals, bookstore accounts, special orders, and a textbook scholarship program. The bookstore will gladly special order books if what you want is not in stock. Most books arrive within one to three days of ordering. Other essential items we carry are bicycle and computer locks, computer bags, some over-the-counter medications, and personal care items.

It is open everyday during the academic year from 6 pm to 2 am 5 pm — 2 am on Saturdays and Sundays and will provide you with a wide variety of healthy snacks, frozen foods, drinks, and plain old junk food, as well as a basic selection of dorm and personal care items.
