Has all the protection required to avoid an accident by overheating or overload. But it's just a STK, with a modest sound. Neither the design is spectacular. It is recommended just for entry level. The main pcb could also be configured SU-Z not sure about the differences and that's where the screwup came about. The panel leds are all powered from a current reg TR Q but the current setting resistor R only connects one end.
